“Today is the 6th anniversary of Gladys’ move to Olivemede. She died this morning, as you all know, very peacefully. The reason for this letter is to congratulate you all as a team on how well you cared for Gladys. I am well aware she was a heavy workload and had been cared for in bed for over two years. During that time she was fed regularly and turned every two hours. I saw her for a few minutes every couple of weeks or so and always found her clean and comfortable.

A huge well done to all of you for everything you have done for Gladys and I know her family also appreciate it enormously.”
