Located at the end of a tranquil cul-de-sac in Yaxley, Olivemede features over an acre of well-maintained gardens. The accomodation comprises 32 single en-suite rooms across two floors. For wheelchair users, a lift is available, along with a rear entrance pathway providing access to the first floor. The bedrooms we offer are fully furnished but residents are welcome to bring their own belongings with them – many of our residents find it helps to add sense of familiarity and really make the room their own.

Our kitchen staff provide meals requested by the residents, with a variety, flavour and nutrition. The team prepare meals for dietary needs.

Cakes are homemade and our team are always happy to make cakes on request

Each floor has its own kitchen, laundry, sluice, shower room, communal lounge and dining area. We also offer hoist assisted bathing. A hairdresser routinely visits Olivemede each Tuesday and Thursday, alongside this we receive regular nurse visits and professional chiropodist care is available to our residents.

Short stays are available to sample life at our home. Single “Taster” days up to a fortnight respite stays are available. We do not charge for extras and provide basic toiletries and confectionery

Rooms are available from £950-£1,000 a week. or 136.00-143.00/day

Following difficult inspections in January 2023, we completed all the changes required of us and have a new management team in place. CCC contracts department have verified the changes we have made and they are happy. CQC are satisfied with the action plan we have completed.

We have implemented new management and successfully completed all required changes. We are rated as GOOD by Cambridgeshire County Council and hold a 5-star Food rating.
