Originally built as a farmer’s bungalow, Hill View was expanded and converted into use as a care home in 1995. The neighbouring farmyard and grazing hillsides which give Hill View its name offer views for our residents and families, creating natural scenery very much in-keeping with the rural feel of our home.

Hill View has 16 single ground floor rooms many of which have recently been redecorated to have a bright and fresh feel, following a large scale renovation project. As with Olivemede, the rooms we offer are fully furnished but residents are welcome to bring their own belongings with them.
At the front of the building is a bright and welcoming communal lounge built in a semi-circular shape, promoting resident interaction and offering the perfect space for entertainments and guests. In addition to inviting various groups to the home, a minibus is available and residents are encouraged to join trips to local events and activities.
Towards the rear of our home is mature garden for residents and families. We strongly recommend Hill View to those looking for a relaxing, tranquil home surrounded by the rustic appeal of the English countryside.
Short stays are available to sample life at our home.
During our most recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission, Hill View was rated as overall Requires improvement.

Rooms are available from £700 a week or £100 per day.
